Heating is a market leader in sustainable and green
practices.
In close cooperation with its parent corporation, Mitsubishi
Electric has embraced the Environmental Vision 2021 initiative, which has several dramatic
goals:

product usage by 30 percent

production by 30 percent

Reduce resources used in production by 30
percent
While many companies are just now joining the green movement,
Mitsubishi Electric launched the Environmental Vision 2021 program
in 1991, and many of the goals are already completed.
Mitsubishi Electric promotes
sustainability within its distributor network through training
classes that instruct on the proper methods of installing systems
and handling and recovering refrigerants. The company provides
increased warranties for contractors who complete commissioning
reports that confirm proper system installation.
In
an equipment review, it was determined that at end of life over 83%
of the components and materials used in Mitsubishi Electric Split
System are recyclable.
