Distributors, Manufacturer's Reps Receive Kudos

Lawrenceville, Ga. - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division, Lawrenceville, Ga., announced the 2004 Distributor Award Winners at its annual Distributors' Conference in Wailea, Maui, January 25-28, 2005, according to Bud Nardello, National Director of Sales.

"In keeping with the theme of the conference, 'Celebrating 25 Years of Leadership,' we feel the recipients of these awards have exhibited leadership in their respective markets for our split-ductless and zoned products," said Nardello.

Recognizing exemplary sales and growth as well as overall effort with Mitsubishi Electric HVAC products, the Distributor of the Year is awarded to General Supply & Machine Company, Inc., Meridian, Miss. "Throughout the past year, Alex Weddington and his team have gone above and beyond the call to grow the market for Mr. Slim and CITY MULTI products in Mississippi. We appreciate his efforts and look forward to growing them in 2005," said Nardello.

Possessing these same characteristics on an international level, the International Distributor of the Year is awarded to Quality Electric Supply, St. Croix, Virgin Islands, which has numerous installations throughout the Virgin Islands.

The Manufacturers' Representative of the Year, acknowledging a representative's overall growth in sales territory and commitment to Mitsubishi Electric HVAC's Diamond Alliance program, goes to The Joyce Agency, Springfield, Va. "We've always received great support from the team at The Joyce Agency. In 2004 we saw their efforts truly pay off," commented Nardello.

Recognizing a company's commitment to the Diamond Alliance initiative, this year's Alliance Awards are presented to ABCO Refrigeration, Long Island, N.Y., and The George F. Wheelock Company, Inc., Birmingham, Ala. According to Nardello, these two distributors sought out opportunities to convert contractors to Diamond Dealers and truly took advantage of the training opportunities offered by Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. The Diamond Alliance is a training and recognition program for contractors, distributors and engineers designed to increase knowledge of the products and services offered by Mitsubishi Electric and to demonstrate the real-life applications and solutions provided by Mitsubishi Electric HVAC products.
