New Mr. Slim P-Series Indoor Units Introduced
Wednesday, December 19, 2007SUWANEE, Ga., December 19, 2007 - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division, Suwanee, Ga., has introduced its next generation of Mr. Slim split-ductless indoor units. The new P-Series (PLA-A**BA) four-way ceiling-recessed cassette features individual vane control and innovative accessories, making it even more energy effective and easier to achieve total comfort control.
"Our new P-Series four-way cassette has a wider air stream, which means the fan does not work as hard to produce air coverage. Individual vane control makes it a great solution for classrooms and open work space areas because each of the four vanes can be positioned to produce a desired airflow," says Meredith Emmerich, manager of application support. "Additionally, our new optional "i-see" accessory kit provides another alternative for automatically controlling room temperature and creating optimum comfort."
The "i-see" Sensor Corner Panel kit is part of Mitsubishi Electric HVAC's radiation temperature technology. The sensor, built into the PL model's corner panel, rotates 360 degrees, measures the infrared radiation generated from the surrounding wall and floor surfaces, computes radiant energy and then converts it into temperature value to create a more comfortable environment near the floor, close to occupants.
New features for the indoor unit include a wider air stream to better disperse the airflow volume and an auto fan speed function, which allows for better air distribution. The indoor unit also features auto wave airflow to improve heating performance and facilitate better temperature distribution.
Accessories for the PLA-A**BA unit
include the "i-see" sensor corner panel kit, a multi-function
casement, high-efficiency filter, wireless signal receiver and an
air outlet shutter plate.
Also new to the PLA-A**BA unit is the updated grille model, which
is offered in a new white color that blends well with drop ceiling
tiles. Available for order now, all of the new PLA-A**BA models
replace the PLA-AA models.
