New Senior Marketing Manager Named

Suwanee, Ga. - Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division, Suwanee, Ga., has promoted D. Michael Smith to the position of senior marketing manager, according to William Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC.

A devout employee for the past nine years, Smith has held the position of marketing manager for Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. He applies a balance of creative and strategic skill-sets to help the division reach its goals of creating actionable market demand for Mitsubishi Electric products and services.

"Mike knows our product line and technology inside and out. For almost a decade he's helped increase customer acceptance and loyalty to our division and its products. He will continue to be an asset to us and we're sure he'll succeed in his new role as senior marketing manager," says Rau.

A graduate of West Georgia University, Smith holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric HVAC in 1996, Smith worked in the sales and advertising department at Leo Publishing, Carrollton, Ga. Smith is an active volunteer with "Hands On Atlanta" and serves on the membership committee at Northwood Country Club, Lawrenceville, Ga.
