Three New Employees Join Mitsubishi Electric HVAC

Mitsubishi Electric HVAC, Suwanee, Ga., has added three new staff
members to various departments over the past few months, according
to William Rau, senior vice president and general manager,
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC.

demonstrates how much our business continues to grow," says Rau.
"The experience that these three individuals bring to the table is
unmatched and will prove to be a valuable asset not only to our
company, but to our customers as well."
Brent Johnson joins the Product Development Group as the CITY
MULTI® controls engineer. In his new position, Johnson will be
responsible for expanding the CITY MULTI Controls Network (CMCN) by
providing field sales support, application design, product
integration support and training. Johnson has seven years of
experience in the HVAC controls industry, including time at Siemens
Building Technologies, Buffalo Grove, Ill., as a design engineer
and Convergint Technologies, Norcross, Ga., as a project
specialist. He has a bachelor of science degree in electrical
engineering and a master's degree in business administration from
Mercer University, Macon, Ga., and will be based out of Mitsubishi
Electric HVAC's Suwanee office.
John P. Rees joins Mitsubishi Electric HVAC as regional sales
manager for the Southern California market. Rees previously worked
as the director of the West Region for Pinnacle One Energy
Solutions, Tempe, Ariz., and has held a variety of sales positions
for other companies in the industry, including APS Energy Services,
Phoenix, Ariz., Marley Cooling Tower, Overland Park, Kan. and
Southern California Gas Company, San Dimas, Calif. A graduate of
California State University at Long Beach, Rees holds a bachelor of
science degree in mechanical engineering and also a master's degree
in business administration from the University of Redlands,
Redlands, Calif. Rees is based out of Placentia, Calif.
David Hazel will be the northeast region area manager for
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. Hazel will be responsible for working
with distribution branches and territory managers to train and
build the Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Dealer base in the New
England and Metro New York area. For the last seven years, Hazel
has worked in residential sales and sales management positions with
Victory Heating & Air Conditioning, Bellingham, Mass., a
Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Dealer. This background in residential
sales will enable him to train Mitsubishi's network of dealers to
become more successful with Mitsubishi Electric products. Based in
Manchester, N.H., Hazel serves as a Board Member and President of
the New England Chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of
America (ACCA).
