Mitsubishi Electric Announces Diamond Contractor Winners of First Annual Golf Promotion

Winners Treated to Dinner and Round of Golf with PGA TOUR Golfer Fred Funk

SUWANEE, Ga., January 22, 2013 -Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division, America's No. 1 selling brand of ductless cooling and heating systems, named seven Diamond Contractors™ as contest winners of the first annual Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling and Heating Division Golf Promotion. Contractors who exhibited the largest year-to-year increases in residential sales from 2011 to 2012 were entered into the contest by their Mitsubishi Electric distributors, and the winners were then chosen by Mitsubishi Electric in a drawing.

Grand prize winners were as follows:

-      Rod Rodriguez of Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning, Pasadena, Calif.

-      Scott Good of Goodco Mechanical, State College, Penn.

-      Rick Brown of Lyons Service Company, Bowling Green, Ky.

-      Bill Morgner of Mid Coast Energy, Damariscotta, Maine

-      Jeff Reupert of Reupert Heating & Air, Cincinnati, Ohio

-      Gabriel Chernousoff of Richair Comfort Solutions, Bergenfield, N.J.

-      Josh Savage of Uptown Heating & Cooling, Minneapolis, Minn.

The Golf Promotion two-day award package teed off with a dinner at PGA TOUR golfer Fred Funk's house, followed the next day with a golf clinic and round of 18 holes with Funk at The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra. The award package also included round-trip air travel and two nights at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Oceanfront Resort in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass has been honored by multiple golf publications as a top golf destination in America.
