Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Hires Kella Brown as Director of Organizational Development
Thursday, September 01, 2011SUWANEE, Ga., September 1, 2011 - Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, an industry leader in ductless cooling and heating technology, today announced the appointment of Kella Brown to director of organizational development.
"Kella's wide range of experience in organizational development is sure to help enhance our team's internal processes," says Bill Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating. "We are excited to welcome Kella to our team and look forward to her contributions."
Brown, who recently relocated to the Atlanta area from Las Vegas, will have a wide range of employee development responsibilities, including enhancement of internal projects and processes. She will work to create initiatives to improve employee engagement and help guide the company though future organizational changes.
Brown brings more than 15 years of practical experience in organizational change, organizational development and strategic leadership to Mitsubishi Electric. Prior to joining the company, Brown worked as the vice president of corporate communications for Leisure Industries, Inc. and as an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Brown earned a bachelor's degree in merchandising and buying from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Ky., and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in organizational change from Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif.
