SUWANEE, Ga., March 20, 2013 - In support of its extensive training program, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), America's No. 1 manufacturer of ductless cooling and heating technology, has launched an online Learning Management System (LMS). The new LMS streamlines course registration for participants, making it easier than ever to access Mitsubishi Electric's industry-leading training network. Course participants include contractors and engineers. Mitsubishi Electric distributors can also attend classes.

"Our new LMS provides a user-friendly interface for participants to register for courses," says Kella Brown, senior director, organizational development, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division. "The LMS makes it easier for distributors, engineers and contractors to take advantage of our platform of hands-on, classroom-style learning, which offers the benefits of face-to-face training presented by product and installation experts."

Mitsubishi Electric offers convenient and accessible training courses for its lines of residential and commercial products at eight training centers across the country. The new LMS will benefit the 7,800 HVAC professionals who complete Mitsubishi Electric training courses each year.

With the new LMS, users can:

  • Easily find available courses and sessions at any Mitsubishi Electric training center.
  • Select a course and session before submitting payment.
  • Create an account by entering only minimal contact information.
  • Purchase multiple seats for any session for easy enrollment of multiple people from one company.
  • View or print transcripts at any time.
  • Easily view and print certificates, for easy management of continuing education credits.

"The extensive training we provide helps course participants improve their job skills as well as their bottom line," continues Brown. "The real-life application experience in designing, installing and troubleshooting of our systems gives end-users access to engineers and contractors equipped and qualified to design, sell, install and service Mitsubishi Electric products."
