Mitsubishi Electric Introduces PAR-30 Line of Controls for Commercial Systems

Thursday, December 01, 2011

SUWANEE, Ga., November 30, 2011 - Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating (Mitsubishi Electric) announced the launch of the newest addition to its line of luxury controls, the PAR-30MAAU remote controller. The PAR-30 controller can control up to 16 indoor units in commercial applications.

The PAR-30 controller has several new features that make temperature control straightforward and more precise. This controller is the first from Mitsubishi Electric to offer a setback mode of operation that controls upper- and lower-limit temperature settings, preventing excessive temperature rise or fall. Other features include sleek new styling, a backlit LCD screen so the temperature settings can easily be seen and adjusted even if its location is dimly lit, and a hold function that can pause a previously scheduled operation.

"Mitsubishi Electric is continuously developing new additions to its controls lineup to give customers more complete building-temperature control, and the new PAR-30 is our latest innovation," says Brent Johnson, controls manager, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating. "All of our commercial systems are equipped with an advanced controls network that makes temperature regulation simple in applications with a wide variety of comfort demands, such as education and medical facilities, offices, hotels and restaurants."

The PAR-30 remote controller is part of the CITY MULTI® Controls Network (CMCN), an advanced controls system that can handle up to 2,000 indoor units from a single networked computer. Building owners and engineers can select from a wide variety of controllers to satisfy the exact level of building management to ensure occupants' comfort. Like all of Mitsubishi Electric's luxury controllers, the PAR-30 remote controller features multilingual operation, weekly timer operation, auto-off timer, current zone temperature displays, a lockout feature, airflow direction and fan speed settings.
