SUWANEE, Ga., December 17, 2013 - To support its continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), America's No. 1 selling brand of ductless cooling and heating technology, has promoted five employees in the product marketing and sales departments.
Michelle Robb has been promoted from senior product manager to director of product planning. In this position, she is tasked with leading the strategic planning and promotion efforts for all Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating products. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric in 2011, Robb served as the vertical markets and ancillary product manager at Mingledorff's, Inc., Norcross, Ga. Robb received both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in marketing from Georgia State University, Atlanta.
Michael Sanok has been promoted from channel development sales manager to residential sales manager, Northeast Business Unit (BU). In his new role, Sanok manages the sales force and operations for the residential market in the Northeast region. He worked for HARSCO, Camp Hill, Pa., TMP Technologies, Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., and Carrier Corporation, Syracuse, N.Y., before joining Mitsubishi Electric in 2010. Sanok earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y., and a master's in marketing from Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y.
Three employees have been promoted to commercial sales managers. In their positions, Scott Graham, Steve Jones and Ron Young will be charged with driving the sales operations within the commercial markets in their respective regions.
Scott Graham has been promoted to commercial sales manager, South BU. Graham has been with Mitsubishi Electric since 2007. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric, he served as director of design/build services at Freeman Mechanical, Greenville, S.C. Graham earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, S.C.
Steve Jones has been promoted to commercial sales manager, Southwest BU. He joined Mitsubishi Electric in May 2007. Jones has nearly 30 years of sales experience having worked for Ferguson Enterprises, Newport News, Va., and Solar Supply, Lake Charles, La. He studied business management and economics at West Virginia Wesleyan College, Buckhannon, W.Va., and McNeese State University, Lake Charles, La.
Ron Young has been promoted to commercial sales manager, Northwest BU. Young has more than 30 years of experience in HVAC sales combined with more than 20 years of application engineering and sales team management experience. Before joining Mitsubishi Electric in 2008, Young worked at Carrier Corporation, Syracuse, N.Y., and York International/Johnson Controls, Milwaukee. He earned degrees in both engineering and business from University of Connecticut, Storrs, Conn.
