We got the Mitsubishi Mr. Slim mini-split system. We got 10 of the wall mounted units and installed them throughout the house and we have three of the exterior condensers. The great thing about this systems was that we could just put units up on the wall and didn't have to build bump outs for duct work. Another reason we really like this system is that it's pretty quiet. We didn't want loud, exterior condensers that would make a lot of noise outside of the house. We didn't want to hear the air conditioning going on and off while we were inside the house.

Not only is it easy to use, but I can set up the timer so that it goes off at a certain time or comes on at a certain time–whether it's heating or air conditioning.

The temperature all over the whole house is even... you don't have cold spots or hot spots.

Because of the unique layout of the house, the multi-zone system allows us to control every room in the house to a comfort level. My daughter's room is always a bit warmer. We always put 2º lower in her room so that it keeps it at a certain comfort level.

I was looking for a system that I could control the temperature in each bedroom and rooms. We picked the Mitsubishi Electric system for our home because of the four generations. We have my mother, who's 89 all the way down to my grandson who is a little over a year old, and we all like our sleeping temperature, living temperature at different degrees, and so this was the most logical choice for us.
