PNC Smarthome

An exterior image of the PNC Smarthome.
We’ve been very happy with the home. We’ve visited in every season and are always pleased with how comfortable the home is.

Marty and Jocelyn Scaffer were visiting family in Cleveland when they spotted, toured and – to their own surprise – made an offer on the PNC SmartHome. It’s easy to see why the Schaffers fell in love with the SmartHome, the first Passive House in Northeast Ohio; it consumes 90 percent less cooling and heating energy than a conventional house thanks to a Hyper-Heating INVERTERTM system from Mitsubishi Electric. Download the PDF below to read more. You’ll hear from the owner and contractor, and see a photo of the home.
