King County Housing Authority

Working with an extremely tight budget, it was a challenge to forge a high performance building out of an old, worn out retail space. We could not have [done it] without VRF from Mitsubishi Electric.

When Seattle’s King County Housing Authority purchased a retail/warehouse space dating back to the 1980’s, the challenge was on to convert all 36,000 square feet into usable office space. VRF from Mitsubishi Electric offered reduced ductwork, significant energy savings and reliable occupant comfort. Ultimately, the project went on to receive ENERGY STAR® certification. Download the PDF below to read moreYou’ll hear from the engineer and architect, and see a photo of the facility.
