Residential Lossnay®

Bring outdoor air into your home without opening a single window.

Residential Ducted Lossnay energy recovery ventilation is designed to provide a balanced, whole-home solution by bringing filtered outdoor air inside and helping to exhaust stale indoor air. Lossnay easily integrates with Mitsubishi Electric heating and air-conditioning systems to support a more complete approach to energy-efficient comfort.

Residential Lossnay

Ventilation of the future

Bring filtered air into your home without relying on open windows.

Residential Ducted Lossnay is designed to integrate with ducted systems to bring in filtered outdoor air and move stale indoor air out. As an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), Lossnay transfers energy between incoming and outgoing air streams, helping reduce the heating and cooling impact of ventilation compared with bringing outdoor air directly into the home.

Residential Lossnay

A more controlled way to bring outdoor air in

Opening windows or doors wastes the heating and cooling energy of your HVAC system, lets in outside noise, and creates an unregulated flow of unfiltered air with unknown contaminants entering the home.

Lossnay is designed to provide balanced home ventilation, helping to dilute indoor contaminant concentrations and achieve acceptable indoor air quality (IAQ).

ERV vs HRV

The right ventilation system can help create a more comfortable home year-round. While HRVs primarily transfer heat and are ideal for colder climates, ERVs transfer both heat and moisture energy, offering a more balanced approach to maintaining indoor comfort through changing seasons.

Lossnay systems also include an optional CO₂ sensor that allows the system to automatically adjust airflow based on indoor CO₂ levels. Optional CO₂ sensing can automatically adjust airflow based on indoor CO₂ levels, helping provide ventilation when occupancy and indoor conditions change.

Residential Lossnay

High quality air

Residential Ducted Lossnay® units are listed in the Home Ventilating Institute Certified Designed to support residential ventilation code requirements when properly designed and installed. (HVI) Ratings Program, which provides independent verification of performance metrics.

Systems include a MERV 10 filter, with an optional MERV 14 filter. The MERV filter or Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value provides better air quality, capturing and filtering finer contaminants in the air. The higher the MERV rating, the more contaminants are filtered from the air.

Does my home need better ventilation?

Homes built after 2010 are increasingly airtight, creating an unpleasant, humid environment with stagnant, stale air. Many modern homes prevent contaminants, moisture, and odors from properly ventilating out of the home. While tightly built homes are great for energy efficiency, they fail to add ventilation to the home and lower the overall air quality.
