How it works
Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps feature variable-capacity compressors that automatically adjust the fan speed to maintain your desired temperature using minimal power. Similar to cruise control in your car, they seamlessly adapt to changing conditions to keep a consistent temperature. In contrast, conventional compressors turn on and off like stop-and-go traffic, resulting in temperature swings and higher energy consumption. In comparison, our heat pumps are more than 160% more efficient than gas-burning furnaces*.

Inverter-driven compressor
Energy-efficient, inverter-driven compressors adjust the system's refrigerant flow to use the least amount of energy required to maintain a desired temperature. Wasteful stop and start cycles are eliminated, resulting in consistent comfort with less energy usage.
Hyper-Heating INVERTER®
Providing year-round comfort even in the most extreme climates, H2i® models deliver heating even in outdoor temperatures as low as -13° F, producing up to 100% heating capacity at 5° F.
Single-zone
A one-to-one connection between an indoor unit and an outdoor heat pump delivers targeted comfort to spaces ranging from a small bedroom to an entire floor.
